WHIMSICAL FAIRY CASTLE CAKE

This was my first 3 tiered WHIMSICAL FAIRY CASTLE CAKE!

I received a picture via email from a client (which looked nothing like this cake!) and she wanted to know if I could do something similar. I said, sure! no problem!

I 'angst' over it for days! lol... trying to figure out the various componants, what to do, where to start, but I finally managed to pull it together a couple of days before 'required'

I made the towers out of round ginger biscuits and covered them with fondant icing, both layers of cake are chocolate sponge and the top tower was a boston loaf, covered in buttercream and fondant icing!
